The product range from manufacturer Duotone is clearly structured - anyone looking for a wingboard over 95 litres will end up with the Sky Freeand below that there is the model Sky Style. The compact wingfoil board is designed to appeal to wingfoilers with a little practice and sets no limits in terms of manoeuvrability, wave suitability and freestyle potential.
Compared to last year's model, Duotone says it has modified the outline and volume distribution to make the boards even more balanced when launching, landing jumps and unintentional touchdowns. The edges have been heavily bevelled, which offers advantages when making contact with the water in waves or during foil manoeuvres and should send the board gently back into the air.
Two versions are available - Sky Style and Sky Style SLS. Depending on the size, the SLS variant is around 700 grams lighter. The Duotone Sky Style 85, for example, is said to weigh around 6.7 kilos, while the Sky Style SLS scratches the 6-kilo mark. However, at €1999, the SLS version also costs €600 more than the cheaper version. However, you are only spoilt for choice in the 75/85 and 95 litre sizes, as the smaller 25/35/45/55 and 65 litre models are all only available in the SLS version.
