Slimmer shape, modified tail - the Skybrid mid-length model has received a comprehensive update for the 2026 season. Find out exactly what has been changed here.

Already the first version of the Skybrid impressed in our test as an easy to ride, stable mid-length board. Nevertheless, manufacturer Duotone has given the board a shape update for the 2026 season. The Duotone Skybrid SLS now has a new outline with a slimmer hull and slightly more aspect ratio to further improve early take-off when wingfoiling or parawing. The redesign of the tail is also intended to serve this purpose.

Revised edges should also ensure that the board enters the choppy water even more smoothly in tight turns or on the cross. The model has been equipped with a longer carbon box so that every foiler can set up the perfect individual setup - all foil positions should be covered. The SLS version comes in a Biax carbon PVC construction and is available in eight sizes from 45 to 130 litres, with prices ranging from 2049 to 2299 euros depending on the size. In addition, Duotone also offers the Skybrid in E/LAB construction: The company claims to have saved a whopping 1.8 kilos in weight compared to the standard SLS version. This is made possible by a Hollow Shell construction method. However, the Skybrid E/LAB is only available in a 70 litre size and is not exactly a bargain - the board costs €2999.

Further information is also available on the manufacturer's website. You can find out how the new Skybrid rides here soon.
