The new Slingshot Wing Craft V2 comes with a completely redesigned shape and more compact dimensions. Find out what else is new here.

US manufacturer Slingshot has given its board all-rounder Wing Craft ( HERE there's a test of version 1) has been given a comprehensive update. The most striking change is certainly a much more compact outline. One example: Whereas the 90-litre version of the Wing Craft V1 was 5'6'' (167.6 cm) long, the 90-litre Wing Craft V2 is just 4'8'' (147 cm).

But the shape has also been visibly honed beyond this: The rocker curve is comparatively straight, which, in conjunction with the sharp trailing edges, should ensure effortless planing. An above-average length box has also been installed in the tail so that a wide variety of foils can be mounted. The highlight of the four smallest sizes is probably the "out the back" foil box, which allows the foil to be pushed out of or into the back of the board.

The Wing Craft V2 is available in a total of eight sizes from 50 to 140 litres

Of course, all plug positions are installed on the deck so that the Slingshot Wing Craft V2 can be ridden either in a 3-strap setup or with just two straps. However, the board is delivered without straps. In total, the new range includes the sizes 50/60/70/80/90/105/120 and 140 litres. The prices for the boards range from 1339 to 1499 euros, depending on the size. You will soon be able to read a test of the new wingboard here on the website - we have already been able to test the board several times.
