Wingboards 2026: JP-Australia F-Winger with a lightweight and stiff construction

JP-Australia’s compact freestyle model will be available in the 2026 season using the S-Tec construction method and is said to be around 15 per cent lighter than its predecessor. The manufacturer explains the design features as follows: “An injection-moulded EPS core keeps the centre ultra-light, whilst the denser outer layer ensures greater strength and reduced resin and water absorption. The core is encased in a full PVC sandwich with lightweight biax carbon, complemented by a unidirectional carbon patch covering the standing area and the foil zones. A special lamination method ensures an optimal pre-preg resin-to-fibre ratio, achieving maximum stiffness with minimum weight. This results in a feather-light triax carbon-PVC sandwich shell for the ultimate composite board construction. Innegra rail and heel reinforcements protect against hard landings.”

In addition, the F-Winger features new footpads designed to provide better cushioning. The shape, however, remains unchanged – with the F-Winger, JP-Australia continues to rely on a compact design with low inertia, combined with a smooth, harmoniously contoured underwater hull, which is designed to ensure good lift. The F-Winger model is available in the S-Tec construction in three sizes (55/66/77 litres) and, given the range of sizes on offer, is likely to appeal to ambitious wing foilers who can actively pump and are looking for a board for fast rotations, manoeuvres and flips.
