The UFO from Sailloft is supposed to be an "Unbelievable Flying Object". The small sailmaker from Hamburg has redesigned its wings and promises an all-round wing that is suitable for all target groups and areas of use, from beginners to pros.
The focus of the redesign was on glide power, which is to be achieved with a higher tension in the cloth. As a result, the wing has more tension and can be pumped more effectively. The materials should also be very light and absorb less water, which further improves handling.
The Sailloft Ufo in detail:
The Sailloft Ufo is equipped with two handles. While the front one is only 25 centimetres long and allows you to quickly find the best grip position, the rear one is twice as long at 50 centimetres. This allows the power to be adjusted individually. The grip is also positioned so that the front end is exactly at the height of the pressure point, making one-handed riding easier. This positioning is also ideal for riding in the switch position.
Further adjustments are possible via the two separate valves: with a tightly inflated strut you get a stiff profile and lots of control, while the pressure of the front tube can be used to adjust the characteristics of the wing to personal preferences and range of use.
The Sailloft Ufo comes with a well-equipped rucksack, leash and repair kit. It is available in six sizes.
