In addition to the Slick SLS model ( HERE there's a current test), the Allrounder Unit is also getting a comprehensive update for the new season. One striking change is the use of a brand-internalMOD3 This should be a material with less stretch in order to maintain the shape and pressure point of the wing even better.
Designer Ken Winner has retained the handle system; two mini-booms should harmonise light weight, variable handle position and a small pack size. Other changes relate to the position of the windows, where "blind spots" are said to have been eliminated thanks to an improved position. The windows on the predecessor model ( HERE Duotone wants to have improved the front handle of the new unit in order to be able to control the wing better when drifting on the wave.
From the new year, the Wing will be available in three colour variants and a total of ten sizes from 2.0 to 6.5sqm. However, the general orientation of the Wing will remain the same - the Duotone Unit will also cover a maximum range of use from freeride to wave and ambitious freestyle tricks in the new season. We will of course be presenting this new product to you in a test report soon and will also be comparing the Unit directly with its predecessor model - a test model is already on its way to us.
