GA gives the Cross Wing another update
The new GA Cross Wing is designed to appeal to a large target group with its interchangeable grip system. What else is new? Find out here.

More and more manufacturers are focussing on wings with an interchangeable grip system. Last year, we already showed you the Vayu Aura ( HERE there's a test), now GA Sails is following suit. The Cross model is an old acquaintance ( HERE you can read the test of the 2022 model), the 2023 update now offers the option of switching from two fixed handles to soft handles for the first time. This should allow every surfer to decide for themselves which system suits them better.

Changing the grip system is extremely easy and can be done within five minutes; both grip systems and the corresponding screws are included in the scope of delivery. Apart from the grip system, the manufacturer GA claims to have made further improvements to the new Cross:

Due to a modified arrangement of the Dacron tracks, the new GA Cross is said to be stiffer

In order to make the wing stiffer and improve control in gusts, GA claims to have revised the arrangement of the panels in the front tube area. The fact that the wing is now equipped with more cloth tension should also improve control. Last but not least, the arrangement of the windows has also been revised to ensure a better all-round view.

GA Cross - Wing with maximum target group?

However, the general orientation of the GA Cross Wings remains unchanged. It is still designed as an all-rounder for a maximum target group and is intended to satisfy beginners, freeriders and freestylers alike. The wing is available in sizes of 2.2/2.8/3.5/4.2/5.2 and 6.2 square metres. Prices range from 899 to 1059 euros, depending on the size chosen.

You will soon be able to read a review of the new 2023 GA Cross Wings here on the website.
