NeilPryde is one of the largest and best-known sail brands in the windsurfing sector. It was therefore foreseeable that the brand would sooner or later use its expertise to produce a wing model. With the all-round modelFly Pryde now wants to reach out to the widest possible target group, from beginners to wing pros.
The new model will be available in 14 sizes (1.4/1.8/2.2/2.5/2.9/3.3/3.6/4.0/4.3/4.7/5.0/5.4/5.7 and 6.0 sqm) and in two colour variants. Depending on the size, the price range is between 769 and 1199 euros. The manufacturer claims to have placed particular emphasis on a pronounced and tautly pre-stressed profile in the front area. This should enable the Fly to deliver maximum power even in small sizes. According to the manufacturer, a particularly light canopy material was used in the wingtip area in order to reduce the inert mass during manoeuvres and rotations to a minimum.

Small battens have been fitted to the trailing edge of the wing to prevent it from flapping in strong gusts and to give the fly a smooth and controlled flight behaviour. The built-in windows should combine a minimum of visibility with a small pack size.
In general, the frame of the Fly model consists of two separate chambers, each of which can be pressurised and vented via its own valve. The inflation pressure can be read directly from the valve. The Wing comes with a bag and a matching leash.
Of course, we will also present this new product to you as soon as possible in the form of a detailed test report here on the website. A test model has already been ordered. You can also find more information about the NeilPryde Fly Wing HERE on the manufacturer's website.
