With the Aura 4, manufacturer Vayu is launching an update of its tried-and-tested all-round wing in nine sizes. The model is equipped with a thin carbon boom.

The Aura complements the EOS 2 model in the Vayu range. The fourth version of the Aura once again boasts a number of new features. Inspired by Premium model Aura X3 the Aura 4 is now also equipped with a slightly thinner front tube, which should benefit top speed and handling. To prevent the front tube from becoming too soft, Vayu has equipped it with stiff Aluula material in the centre area. The nine available sizes (2.0/2.5/3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5/5.0/5.5/6.0 square metres) are all supplied with a thin carbon boom. If you own several sizes, you can get by with one boom length for sizes 3.5 to 5.5 square metres. The designers of the Aura 4 have also focussed on optimum handling, so the size 5.5, for example, should only weigh 2.4 kilos.

Whether the new Vayu Aura 4 Wing can fulfil the high expectations will soon be revealed here on the website. A test model is already waiting to be used.
