The FreeWing Go is designed to make beginners and experienced wingsurfers equally happy
The new FreeWing Go promises less water contact thanks to compact ends and plenty of stability, but also enough power for advanced riders.

With the "FreeWing Go", Starboard is launching a new wing on the market that should be particularly suitable for beginners. The first wing attempts on a SUP or longboard should be just as easy as advanced manoeuvres. The "Go" concept, with which Starboard redefined beginner windsurfing equipment many years ago, is thus also being transferred to the wing sector.

The most striking design feature of the "Go" is its compact shape: The comparatively small span is intended to prevent the tips from dipping into the water. The short strut, on the other hand, should make it easier to balance and also prevent water contact during manoeuvres. The large diameter of the tubes makes the wing stable and controllable even in strong winds.

Three wide handles make it easy to reach without looking.

The optimised windows and wide handles are further features that should make your first attempts at wingsurfing easier. The ends of the tubes are reinforced with Kevlar to ensure that nothing breaks on land.

Of course, all this not only helps newcomers to wingsurfing, but advanced surfers will also have fun with the FreeWing Go for a long time. "Learn to wing and never stop" is the manufacturer's motto.

The Starboard FreeWing Go is available in three colour combinations and in five sizes from 2.5 to 6.5 square metres. Further information is available here on the manufacturer page >>

Here we show you how to use the suitable wing for getting started and here you can find an overview of the suitable Material for getting started with wingsurfing .
