The FreeWing Air V2 is the result of a co-operation between Starboard and Airush and is a further development of the previous FreeWing model.
According to the manufacturer, the most important changes are "a larger centre strut for improved stability". This centre strut should also ensure greater acceleration and better speed. Furthermore, the rear windows have been revised in large sizes, more handles have been added for better wing control and the wing tips have also been optimised. As a result, the wing should sit noticeably better in the hands with a more evenly distributed pull.
According to the manufacturer, each of the seven sizes between 2 and 8 m² has been individually developed to achieve both maximum performance and maximum control. The wings are designed to work in both light wind and high wind conditions and are a good choice for beginners and waver alike.
The FreeWing Air V2 is available from 749 euros. A test model is already on its way to us and we will soon be presenting the Wing on Wingsurf.world and on our YouTube channel before.
