Duotone has revised the details of its Ventis light wind model. It can now be ridden with either a continuous boom or fixed handles.

The new Ventis FS Wing builds on the strengths of its predecessor (HERE is a test report)but now offers more options in terms of the grip system. You can now ride the Wing with either a continuous boom or two individual grips. It is important to note that grips and boom are not included in the scope of delivery and must be purchased separately (99 euros).

However, the target group remains unchanged, as the Ventis FS is available in sizes 7.0 and 8.0 m² and its profile is consistently optimised for light wind performance. "The Focus"the manufacturer promises, "The focus here is on a deep profile with the best possible power, even when flying passively. An optimised twist in the wingtip area not only improves performance in the lower wind range, but also increases upwind performance. Riders can therefore stay on the water longer in marginal conditions. The effective reduction of the wingtips also minimises drag and makes manoeuvres and take-off easier", explains Duotone.

The "normal" version of the Duotone Ventis costs between 1419 and 1469 euros, depending on the size, and is available in two colour combinations. The model is also available as an elegant E/LAB version, in which the front tube and struts are made of particularly stiff and lightweight Aluula material. However, this version also costs 2469 and 2569 euros respectively.
