Manufacturer Duotone has revised all variants of its all-round model Unit for the 2025 season. The centrepiece is the interchangeable handle system; with all Unit variants, you can now choose whether you prefer to take to the water with boom or fixed handles. However, it is important to know in this context that the Wings are generally delivered "naked", i.e. without a handle system, and you have to buy boom or handles separately (+ 99 euros).
Apart from that, Duotone also wants to have revised some details: For example, the wings have been equipped with a stiffer front handle, which should provide better contact when drifting on the wave and transmit steering impulses 1:1. Adjustments to the cloth material, the cloth tension and the twist behaviour are also intended to further improve the previous combination of power and control and underline the all-round appeal of the unit models. In addition, the position of the windows has been revised to ensure a better view downwind.
The classic Unit variant and the Unit SLS Concept Blue are available in sizes from 2.0 to 6.5 square metres, each in increments of 0.5 square metres. The Unit E/LAB is available in sizes from 3.5 to 6.5 square metres. Information on the new models is also available on the manufacturer's website.
