A few days ago the surprising news: Jason Polakow leaves JP-Australia - the board brand with his initials that he once co-founded and made great. Francisco Goya now welcomes the wave legend to the Quatro and Goya team with a detailed statement.

"We are happy to welcome a rider who has constantly inspired us, no matter what equipment he has ridden. Windsurfing has always been more than just a brand and a sport; it's a passion, a lifestyle and a community in our endeavour as collective dreamers to bring together what we feel for life. Today, we join forces with a name and a movement that resonates in every cell of our bodies and in every corner of the windsurfing world. Jason Polakow's unparalleled dedication, electrifying performances and groundbreaking contributions to the sport have not only set the bar high, but also paved our way when we make our first bottom turn or land a late hit that previously seemed impossible. Jason is not only a professional windsurfer, but also a movement and the engine of our wave culture in windsurfing, who has set us abuzz more times than I can count. Our mission is to continue the innovations that will inspire the next generations as we elevate our sport to new heights.
Welcome to your own tribe, Jason!
Thank you for your confidence in our team, our equipment and your intuition.
"

We are curious to see whether we will see more radical wave rides and big wave missions from Polakow in the near future. Lately, the 51-year-old has kept a rather low profile except for the bigger Maui swells.
