There was plenty of action on the water basin at boot Düsseldorf on the first weekend

The big water basin at boot Düsseldorf was already being freestyled on the first weekend. Here are the best pictures and an overview of what else was on offer.

The large water basin is an integral part of boot Düsseldorf, with paddling, wingsurfing and windsurfing taking place here every day. The pool has been enlarged again for the 2023 trade fair, and wind machines now also provide some ventilation. However, the wind rotors produce a rather moderate wind so that the trade fair inventory doesn't fly out of the hall from the neighbouring stands - which is why the cable winch helped out during the freestylers' show to bring the performers up to the required speed.

On the first weekend of boot, some freestylers also showed what is possible in the hall. There were plenty of power and double moves on show, and you can get an impression of what was on offer in the picture gallery.

If you missed the first weekend of the water sports fair, you still have the opportunity to be there until 29 January 2023. But there is also plenty to see away from the water. Numerous manufacturers from the water sports industry will be presenting their latest equipment. Many stars of the scene will also be on site.

HERE you will find a tour of the surf hall with some highlights.
