On the final day of the EFPT event in Austria, the action kicked off once again: Steven van Broeckhoven and Yentel Caers showed off the best moves in the Tow-In team!

The organisers of the EFPT event at Lake Neusiedl had come up with an exciting new format: After the official scoring of the freestyle contest was through - Lennart Neubauer claimed his first professional victory - A total of eight two-person teams competed in a tow-in team contest. Both riders of a team were pulled into the contest zone at the same time in front of the numerous spectators, each run had its own category such as synchronisation or free choice of moves.

In the qualifying rounds, there was still quite a lot of wind for Tow-In, which gave the riders plenty of push, but also created annoying chop. The team of George Grisley and Bodhi Kempen were therefore eliminated, as were locals Andreas Rössler and Michi Czech. Although they performed an extremely synchronised run, they did not receive enough points for their moves. Jamie Howard and Ollie Townsend also failed to make it through to the final, as did tow-in rookies Primus Sorling and Manolis Chrysopoulos.

Four teams then made it to the final, each of which performed three rounds. Tigo Kort and Tim Gerdes came fourth, followed by Youp Schmit and Nigel Hart as "Team Bonaire". Schmit managed to perform a move right in front of the judges and throw them a kiss at the same time - a great show!

However, it soon became clear that victory would be decided between Team Belgium (Yentel Caers and Steven van Broeckhoven) and Team Maestro (Lennart Neubauer and Sam Esteve). With a little wind power to support them, Neubauer and Esteve both jumped an air funnel into no-handed burner, but the moves didn't stand up. As a result, the Belgians were able to take the win relatively safely.

But the eye-catcher or crash of the day came from George Grisley and Andy Rössler:
