Martin Brandner, who was F2 brand manager for ten years and then founded JP-Australia and managed it for two decades, has joined the ranks of the riding technique experts. Last year, he organised a successful jibing camp on Rhodes for the first time, and this year he is offering two of his very special high-tech jibing camps with drone video analysis and mental training. The first date in June is already fully booked, but there are still a few places available for the camp from 3 to 10 September 2023.
In addition to the simulator for the beach - which Martin built himself - he has also developed a unique mini-simulator with a 3D printing company, which can be used to simulate the jibe, including rig control, edge loading, foot changes and shifting, at your desk, so to speak, and make it easy to understand. Martin is pleased to announce that there is now a partnership with MYSTIC for his jibe camp. Every participant will therefore receive a cool MYSTIC Lycra and some other MYSTIC goodies. As usual, everyone will also receive all their photos and videos taken at the camp, as well as the training videos that were shown, on a USB stick.
Another jibe camp is now also planned for spring 2024 in Dahab at the Harry Nass Centre. More information will be available soon.
If you finally want to stand nine out of ten jibes, perfect your jibes and become really fast - then these are your camps.
Martin Brandner: "With this camp, I want to help the participants to have even more fun windsurfing, because they will finally be able to jibe, plane quickly and become really fast. The main aim of the camp is to pass on my boundless enthusiasm for windsurfing and to increase the fun of windsurfing through what I have learnt. The search for the perfect jibe never ends."
