Surf Festival: The 2024 highlight clip - and the date for 2025!

Better late than never, thought the easterly wind on Fehmarn, as it caused many guests and testers to grin broadly on the last day of the festival. Until then, the sun had done justice to the island of Fehmarn's nickname. Despite the early date of the surf festival, the sunny island once again presented itself from its best side. Almost all the well-known windsurfing manufacturers had pitched their tents on the south beach and brought boards, sails, SUPs and foils for free testing. And more than 1000 registered testers did not miss this opportunity. Even with little wind, there was always plenty of material with and without sails on the water. In addition, many visitors took the opportunity to get extensive and competent advice from the brand representatives - it is no exaggeration to say that this concept is unique in the world. The date for the 2025 Surf Festival

But the surf festival is now much more than just a test event. Numerous seminars and hands-on workshops provide windsurfing knowledge for beginners. For example, the German Armed Forces, as a new festival partner, offered free beginner courses with the Heidkate surf school - all courses were fully booked for the entire weekend on the very first day.

boot Düsseldorf with its pump-oil station and the Bitburger 0.0% SUP Challenge also provided plenty of action on the water despite the low wind. And this continued seamlessly in the evening at the parties - relaxed, loud and with a peaceful atmosphere.

The 2025 Surf Festival will take place from 29 May to 1 June - we look forward to seeing you there!
