The spots in Cold Hawaii are also a second home for many German windsurfers, which is why many of them take part in the Danish Open events. The relaxed atmosphere, many familiar faces and often great conditions make the contests a highlight. The dates for 2024 have now been finalised:

- 12-20 October
The spots will be selected according to the conditions, based on NASA's clubhouse on Mussel Reef in Klitmøller. The registration deadline is 5 May, and those who register for both events at the same time (under "koordineret") will save a few hundred crowns.

The official announcement says: "We hope you will join us for a few windy days with good company, fun on and off the water and pizza in the evening! It's an open event where anyone can sign up and have the chance to become Danish champion!"
There are men's, women's and junior rankings in wave and freestyle, and the official Danish overall and U21 championship titles are awarded. To win the title, you must be a member of a national association.
