1001grad invites you to its Wave Camp in Klitmøller, Denmark, from 13 to 18 October 2026. The six-day training camp is aimed at windsurfers and wingfoilers – from beginners to advanced riders – who wish to specifically improve their skills in the waves. The collaboration with equipment partners Goya, Quatro and KT enables all participants to test high-quality gear free of charge. The camp offers professional coaching with a maximum ratio of four students per coach. At least four of the six camp days are set aside for coaching sessions. In the event of insufficient wind conditions, there is the option to switch to surfing. Klitmøller serves as the main spot; if necessary, participants will move to nearby alternatives.
Personalised wave training tailored to your level
Anyone wishing to take part should be able to glide, use the trapeze and perform a water start. Wingfoilers should be able to ride confidently in a straight line and execute a full-foil jibe safely. If you’re unsure about your own skill level, please contact the 1001grad team directly. The coaching is tailored individually to each participant’s level and personal goals. Beginners to wave riding will learn how to navigate the surf safely, catch their first waves and master the basics for their first jumps. Advanced riders work on more challenging manoeuvres such as their first rotations in the air or more radical turns in the wave. Professional coaches and experienced wave surfers accompany participants on the water and provide direct feedback on technique and tactics.
The equipment partners Goya, Quatro and KT are providing all participants with equipment to try out free of charge. This allows participants to test different set-ups under real-world conditions in the waves. The coaches are on hand to answer any questions about choosing equipment and to offer recommendations on which equipment suits each participant’s riding style, ability and personal goals.
Shared accommodation or private accommodation
There are two accommodation options to choose from. The shared house can accommodate up to ten people and offers an immersive camp and community experience. Participants who prefer more independence can make their own way to the camp, for example in their own camper van. Participants organise their own meals. For those staying in the shared house, communal cooking is encouraged, which fosters interaction amongst participants and forms part of the community experience.
The camp costs 799 euros, including accommodation in a shared house, or 599 euros without accommodation if you make your own way there. The price includes professional coaching and the use of equipment from Goya, Quatro and KT. Participants are responsible for organising their own meals.
