Ben Proffitt comments: PWA Slalom World Cup on Lake Garda in the livestream!
After a windless first day at the Slalom World Cup on Lake Garda, the first races have finally started. Follow all the races in the PWA livestream with Ben Proffitt!

For the first time this year, the racers will meet and race on the legendary Lake Garda - home to numerous well-known riders and manufacturers. Many eyes will be on world champion Maciek Rutkowski, his rivals Matteo Iachino and Pierre Mortefon, as well as newcomers such as Johan Soe.

Ora and Vento not yet fully there

Lake Garda is actually known for its reliable wind system, but lots of clouds and rain are currently preventing Ora and Vento from getting going. Nevertheless, today, Thursday, looks like the only day that could offer promising wind!

Eight Germans take part in the Slalom World Cup in Torbole

Eight German men will be competing in Torbole, including Michele Becker, who has just won the tour opener of the DWC. But Vincent Langer is also always good for a strong placing, as is Nico Prien, who wants to attack again this year!

Tobi is our digital man, he looks after the surf website and social media channels and gets on everyone's nerves every morning by asking for more pictures and videos. His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
