Following the spectacular freestyle event, conditions at the World Cup on Fuerteventura remain perfect – today it’s the turn of the Slalom X-Racers! The fin races, taking place in strong winds and featuring optional obstacles such as the ‘Wurst’ or chicanes, promise spectacular action and close finishes!
As this is the only event of the year taking place here on Fuerte, the world champions will be crowned here too. In the men’s event, Pierre Mortefon is on course for a hat-trick; after winning in 2024 and 2025, he is aiming for his third title in a row. In the women’s event, Justine Lemeteyer and Jenna Gibson are among the top favourites – Sarah-Quita Offringa has focused on wave and freestyle this year!
