What a party! It's been almost a month since the 2023 Surf Festival. But this highlight clip brings the festival atmosphere back!

With around 40,000 visitors, the 2023 Surf Festival on the south beach on Fehmarn was a huge success - once again, as the festival is almost a must-attend event for many visitors. With perfect weather, wind for every skill level and numerous highlights, nothing was left to be desired.

Highlights included the Racer of the Sea races, the German Freestyle Battles and, of course, the opportunity to try out all the latest equipment from all the manufacturers. More than 1400 testers were there!

And on land, too, everything revolved around windsurfing: Personal trainer Sascha Lange showed how to get fit for the session, surf tester Manuel Vogel gave several workshops on equipment selection and the right settings. Every day, teams and individuals took to the water in the Bitburger 0.0% SUP Challenge, and everyone had the chance to see how far they could go with a foil at the boot pumping foil event.

During the day, delicious food was served at the food trucks on the event meadow, and in the evening, countless visitors partied in front of the big stage, with music by Lina Erpenstein, among others. An all-round successful weekend - which you can look back on again with the highlight clip!

More on the topic:

Tobi is our digital man, he looks after the surf website and social media channels and gets on everyone's nerves every morning by asking for more pictures and videos. His surfing CV includes all the famous choppy water spots: As a teenager, he went from his home in Münsterland to the Ijsselmeer or the Brouwersdam, and during his civilian service on Sylt, after countless washes on the west side, the Königshafen became his preferred spot. After studying in Kiel and Heidkate, he was supposed to go to Hamburg “only for a short time”, but this short time has lasted for over ten years and has made him a “weekend warrior”. He goes on tour with his family and camper van as often as possible, often to the Baltic Sea, SPO or Denmark, but also likes to go to Finland, Sweden or Sardinia.
