A job as a surf instructor is often the entry into the industry: lots of know-how, lots of contacts and, above all, lots of time on the water. In May 2023, you can once again obtain your Austrian licence at the official VÖWS windsurfing instructor training course in Podersdorf on Lake Neusiedl.
Particular emphasis is placed on comprehensive training in the areas of practical teaching, materials science and didactics. It is also possible to acquire the head teacher licence (station manager) as part of this course.
The course is led by former World Cup pro Chris Pressler and an expert teaching team for specific subject areas such as first aid, meteorology and physics. The team has been working together for 15 years and has successfully accompanied numerous candidates on their way to becoming surf instructors.
