You've done it and if things go "badly", you've taken the first step with your surfing course, only to soon find yourself in a heap of trouble. Why? Once you've caught the surfing virus, you'll probably turn your life upside down. Your choice of holiday destinations will suddenly be driven by wind forecasts and your cellar will be cramped because of all the surfing equipment.
But we can promise you from our own experience: It's worth it! Windsurfing is the best sport in the world and more than just a board, sail and a bit of water: the journeys, the natural experience of playing with the elements, the adrenaline of learning a new manoeuvre and the feeling of freedom - it's all unique and never stops, no matter how good you are or where you go on the water.
So that your surfing life doesn't end when you return from your holiday, we - the editors of the world's biggest windsurfing magazine "surf" - give you everything you need to keep going at home with our special "Stay on". You don't need the sea on your doorstep, a car, your own equipment or a big wallet. To get started, it's enough to know where you can hire equipment cheaply, that there are inflatable windsurf boards and compact sails "for your pocket", where the best beginner spots are in your area and what you need to know about the equipment.
The beginner special "Stay tuned" is available in many surf schools or free of charge in the Delius Klasing kiosk app
